Pirate Pride Week, January 19 through 22
Seton Hall Law Student Bar Association Sponsors the First Annual Pirate Pride Week.
The Student Bar Association will kick off Pirate Pride Week on January 19. Cold weather and the start of second semester might make Spring Break seem like a lifetime away, which makes this is a good time to celebrate everything that makes the Seton Hall Law community so special.
Pirate Pride Week Calendar of Events:
Tuesday, January 19
4-6 pm – Student Organizations Fair in the Atrium – Pick up free tickets to Thursday night's showdown between the SHU Pirates and Louisville at the Rock. Limited tickets are available free for law students.
Wednesday, January 20
4:30 pm – 1L Brain Bowl in the Auditorium – the winning section will receive discounted tickets ($15 off) to Friday night's Winterfest. Before and after the Brain Bowl, have your picture taken with the SHU Pirate and win a free SHU Law t-shirt.
5:30 pm – Community Mass at the Chapel, Father Nicholas Gengaro presiding.
Thursday, January 21
3-5 pm – Irish-American Law Students Association (IALSA) "Thirsty Thursday": Free Food and Beer in the Atrium
5-7 pm – Brick City Bar & Grill Pep rally: Pre-game drink specials right across from the Prudential Center
7 pm – SHU v. Louisville, Big East men's basketball game at the Prudential Center
Friday, January 22
7 am – Pirate Day of Service: Meet at 7 a.m. in the atrium to help out at St. John's Soup Kitchen. RSVP with SBA Parliamentarian John Finnegan at john. Finnegan@student.shu.edu.
8-11 pm – Winterfest at Willie McBride's in Hoboken. Buy tickets in the Atrium all week. $25.
