4th Annual Colloquium: Current Scholarship in Labor & Employment Law

Seton Hall Law School is proud to host the Fourth Annual Colloquium on Current Scholarship in Labor & Employment Law in Newark Friday, September 25 through Saturday, September 26, 2009.

This annual event was first held in 2006 at Marquette University Law School, and has subsequently been presented in Denver (co-hosted by the Law Schools of the Universities of Colorado and Denver) and San Diego (co-hosted by California Western, Thomas Jefferson, and the University of San Diego Schools of Law). The Colloquium has become the premier American forum for labor and employment law scholars to present and obtain feedback on works-in-progress.

Designed to allow professors to explore new ideas with the help of supportive colleagues, past colloquia have featured broad and deep treatment of topics spanning the gamut of Employment Law, Employment Discrimination, Labor Law, and Employee Benefits. Professors from across the country interact both in panel sessions and in the many opportunities for more informal conversations.

The Colloquium will begin on Friday morning, September 25 and extend through midday on Saturday, September 26.

All conference sessions will be held at Seton Hall University School of Law’s campus in downtown Newark, New Jersey, a short walk from Newark Penn Station and brief taxi ride from Newark Liberty International Airport.
