Graduation Class Gifts

The Graduation Gift Program is a way for the graduating class to leave a legacy behind after commencement. The Class of 2009 achieved 23% class participation, which is the highest percentage of class participation in this project since Seton Hall Law School began running this program, in 2004.  This year's graduating class pledged over $24,000, in honor of the late Professor William Garland through their graduation gift in support of the Fund for Seton Hall Law School.  This recent success followed that of the Class of 2008 in their quest to pledge over $25,000 in honor of Cindy Ball Wilson, Director of Student Services, for her hard work and dedication to Seton Hall Law students.  The Class of 2009 will be recognized on a plaque outside Professor Garland's former office, similar to the way the Class of 2008 is recognized on a plaque outside Cindy Wilson's office.

Funds raised through the Graduation Gift Program will continue to support the Fund for Seton Hall Law School, which has been identified as the #1 priority of the Seton Hall Law Rising Campaign. This fund has positively impacted each and every student, whether they are involved in any student organization, have attended a speaker series event, received scholarship assistance, participated in student academic programs such as moot court or one of our many student publications, participated in specialty impact programs, such as the Haiti Rule of Law Project or the Guantanamo Teach-in, or those who plan to attend any alumni networking events upon graduation.

Seton Hall Law School thanks recent graduates for their participation in this important project, to help the School in its quest to rise to new heights through the Seton Hall Law Rising Campaign.  Congratulations to the Class of 2009!
