Ways to Make a Gift
There are many opportunities for alumni, friends, parents, foundations, corporations and other supporters to participate in the success of the Seton Hall Law | Rising Campaign. Every gift will count toward our campaign goal of $25 million.
You may structure your contribution in a variety of ways:
- Cash Gifts: The simplest way to make a gift is by cash, check, or credit card. Outright gifts can be made once or on a recurring basis. When making a gift, please note whether you would like your gift to go to a particular program. Undesignated gifts will go to the Seton Hall Law School’s Annual Fund. - Securities: A gift of appreciated securities may provide you with enhanced tax benefits. Always consult your financial advisor or legal counsel with questions about personal tax benefits. The easiest way to make a gift of securities to Seton Hall Law School is by electronic transfer. - Planned Gifts: One of the most meaningful ways to support the Law School is by making a deferred or estate gift. Generous and thoughtful planning today will have an extraordinarily positive impact on tomorrow’s law students. Some of the many types of planned gifts to consider are: bequests through wills or trusts, beneficiary designations, life insurance policies, and life income gifts. - Campaign Pledges: Like all capital campaigns, the Seton Hall | Law Rising Campaign presents an opportunity to do something extraordinary to advance the Law School’s success and vision. In addition to their ongoing annual support, many of our alumni and friends have already made pledges that will be paid over time, usually three to five years. For example, a gift of $50,000 may be paid in installments of $10,000 per year.
