Scholarships
Seton Hall has a proud history of providing a quality legal education at a competitive cost. With this campaign, we will build an endowment to sustain scholarships for the future.
Right now, Seton Hall Law has only a small scholarship endowment. To meet the needs of the community, and to reach the students we strive to serve, we must have a flexible mix of scholarship funding, including:
- Significant need-based scholarships to make legal education affordable for dedicated students from all backgrounds, and
- Sufficient merit-based scholarships to give us a competitive edge with extraordinary students over peer institutions
Your $50,000 contribution can create an endowed scholarship, providing funding to worthy candidates in perpetuity. Increased scholarship support is essential as we continue to recruit top-quality, well-rounded students who will serve the community and the profession. Your gift will help us to attract these talented applicants.
"Attracting the best students and ensuring access to a Seton Hall Law quality education
rank among the Law School's highest priorities. When I ask outstanding students why
they came to Seton Hall Law School, the list of answers is endless: a world-class
faculty, strong alumni network, and a modern, attractive facility located minutes
from the heart of Manhattan. When I heard about outstanding students who did not
come to Seton Hall Law because they received scholarships from other schools, I wanted
to do something to change that trend. These students are tremendously talented and
go on to represent and support the Law School for the rest of their lives. Scholarships
are the most powerful tool to recruit these high-achieving students to the Law School.
I encourage you to join me and many other alumni and friends of Seton Hall Law in
supporting student scholarships, the number one remaining priority of the Seton Hall
Law Rising Campaign.”
