John Cascarano is Assistant Counsel in the Authorities Unit of the Office of Governor Chris Christie, which oversees more than 50 authorities throughout the state.
Prior to joining the Governor’s Office, Mr. Cascarano served as Deputy Chief Counsel to the New Jersey Assembly Republican Caucus. In that position, he served in an in-house role to the Members, assisted with a variety of matters ranging including the drafting of legislation. Prior to working for the General Assembly, Mr. Cascarano was an Assistant Prosecutor in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office. Immediately following law school, Mr. Cascarano served as judicial clerk to The Honorable Ronald Marmo, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Criminal Part.
Mr. Cascarano is a 2007 graduate of Seton Hall Law School and a 2004 graduate of Montclair State University. Mr. Cascarano is married to a fellow Seton Hall Law alumnus, is a lifelong resident of Nutley, New Jersey, and is an active member of Nutley UNICO.
