Julian Leone currently works as a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs in New York. He started in the firm’s Compliance Division, part of a team overseeing the firm’s Investment Management Division. In his current role as Private Wealth Advisor, he is responsible for helping clients with complex investment decisions related to wealth transfer, liability management and alternative investments.
He recently graduated from New York University with an M.B.A. and a specialization in quantitative finance. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, Julian worked as a securities attorney for the New Jersey Attorney General where he investigated allegations of securities fraud. He is a graduate of the class of 2004 and attended Seton Hall Law School on a part-time basis while working full-time as a tax accountant for a public accounting firm of EisnerAmper.
Additionally, Julian is a former Army Captain and veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He joined the Army National Guard after the events of September 11, 2001 and served for ten years with a one year tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq. He is currently on the management committee of the Goldman Sachs Veterans Network and is involved in the firms veteran outreach efforts.
