Wanda French-Brown is Counsel at Baker Hostetler LLP in New York where she practices intellectual property litigation with a concentration in pharmaceutical and life science patent litigation. She has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants before federal courts, the International Trade Commission and USPTO involving a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, food chemistry, telecommunications, and medical devices. Wanda has been selected into the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (2015) and the 2016 New York Metro Rising Stars list for Intellectual Property Litigation by Super Lawyers.
Wanda is also an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School where she teaches Intellectual Property concentration courses in the Masters of Science in Jurisprudence program. She is a member of both the New Jersey and New York Intellectual Property Law Associations.
Wanda is a member of the New York City Bar Association where she serves on the Minorities in The Profession Committee. She is also a member of the National LGBT Bar Association, LeGAL (LBGT Assocation of Greater New York), and an avid supporter of Lambda Legal.
Prior to her law career, Wanda worked as a Registered Pharmacist in the healthcare and pharmaceutical fields for over 10 years. In 2008, she graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property. Wanda earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from Rutgers University College of Pharmacy in 1996.
In her spare time, Wanda enjoys golfing and is a member of the Executive Women’s Golf Association, Northern New Jersey Chapter.
