Martin J. Foncello serves as an Assistant District Attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office in New York, NY. Martin has been with the District Attorney’s Office since 2005. As an Assistant District Attorney, Martin has argued more than 30 cases before the Appellate Division, First Department, and has appeared before the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state. Martin also served in a trial bureau in the District Attorneys Office, where he prosecuted various felony and misdemeanor crimes.
While at Seton Hall Law School, Martin was the Senior Articles Editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. For his academic achievements, Martin was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He currently teaches at Seton Hall as an adjunct faculty member in the Legal Research and Writing Program.
