ROBERT E. SPITZER

Robert is an associate with MacNeill, O’Neill & Riveles who maintains a varied litigation practice. He is involved in all aspects of suits alleging medical malpractice, premises liability, nursing home negligence as well as commercial litigation. He has been designated Trial Counsel in medical malpractice actions as well as business disputes. Robert was also involved with his former Firm's Hospitality practice, wherein he handled Summary Proceedings in New Jersey and New York.
In addition to state and federal actions, Robert is involved with appellate work, defending successful lower court decisions. Robert continues to be active within Seton Hall University School of Law and serves on the Alumni Council. He also is on the Board of Editors of Medical Malpractice Law & Strategy. Up until this past year, Robert sat on the District V-C Fee Arbitration Committee and Maxwell Place Condominium Association's Judiciary and ADR Committee. Robert graduated from the Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court and regularly serves as a Judge for Moot Court Competitions at Seton Hall University School of Law and through the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.
2016 marks the sixth consecutive year that New Jersey Monthly Magazine named Robert to its list of Rising Stars, which recognizes New Jersey's outstanding young lawyers. Rising Stars are selected through the Super Lawyers publications and is an honor bestowed upon no more than 2.5 percent of New Jersey's attorneys.
