Mara E. Zazzali-Hogan is a Director/Partner at Gibbons P.C. in Newark where she primarily concentrates her practice in complex litigation matters, which include commercial litigation as well as litigation related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices and clinical laboratories. Regarding pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, she has been involved with patent infringement and antitrust matters, insurance coverage disputes arising out of alleged pharmaceutical product defects, general products liability and restrictive covenants. In the area of clinical laboratory defense, she has represented clients in varying disciplines.

Before joining Gibbons P.C., she served as a judicial clerk for an Associate Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court, Daniel J. O'Hern, and a United States District Court Judge, William Bassler. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Alumni Council and as a member of the Health Law Advisory Board.

She married a Seton Hall graduate, John Hogan, and they have three children. She like sports and traveling and is proficient in Italian.
