Seton Hall Law students not only know the law, they know the practice of law. They take what they learn in the classroom and prepare themselves for success by participating in multiple practical learning opportunities, ranging from our highly respected Skills program; to externships, clinics, and pro bono programs; to judicial externships and internships with government and public interest organizations.
The Office of Career Services operates a year-long recruiting program, at no cost to employers, and invites employers seeking to fill positions for part-time, summer or full-time positions for current law students and graduates to participate in our On Campus Interview or Resume Referral Program.
On Campus Interviewing
Our On-Campus Interview Program allows employers to select the criteria, class year and application materials of the applicants they wish to see. We do not operate on a lottery system, but instead, offer all employers the opportunity to decide which students they would like to interview. Once you review the application materials, and select the applicants you wish to see, OCS will schedule the interviews for you. Our Fall On-Campus Interview Program begins in August and runs through early November, and our Spring On-Campus Interview Program operates February through May.
Resume Referral Program
If you do not wish to conduct interviews on campus, you can register to particpate in our Resume Referral Program, which allows employers to select the criteria, class year, and application materials of applicants. OCS forwards the requested materials, and allows the employer to directly contact and schedule interviews with those applicants the employer is interested in meeting.
