At Seton Hall Law, we’ve worked diligently to create a legal program designed for people who want to advance in their non-legal careers. Our 30-credit-hour Master of Science in Jurisprudence (MSJ) in Health Law or Intellectual Property Law program is available entirely online or as a hybrid online/traditional (in-person) degree program geared toward people who wish to move ahead in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, information technology, telecommunications and biotechnology fields.

As the only program of its kind in the New York metropolitan area, our MSJ program will increase your professional marketability by developing your understanding of regulatory and legal issues within your industry. This program can be completed in as little as two years by part-time students or as little as one year by full-time students. MSJ students have up to six years to finish the program.

Our MSJ alumni work in a variety of positions, such as:

  1. Risk Managers
  2. Quality assurance managers
  3. Supervisors
  4. Clinical operations directors
  5. Patent/trademark assistants
  6. Pharmaceutical financial analysts
  7. Compliance officers
  8. Healthcare administrators
  9. Nurse managers
  10. Contract analysts

To make earning your degree more convenient, we allow you to complete your coursework entirely online, or through a hybrid format that blends online and on-campus learning. You may choose to pursue a track in health law or intellectual property law, or a dual track that examines both.

As a student at Seton Hall Law, you’ll learn from nationally respected faculty and have access to a network that can help you achieve your professional goals.

If you’re interested in learning more about our Master of Science in Jurisprudence program, please contact us today. We can help you determine if this program is right for you.
