APPLICANT INFORMATION
- Resume: Please submit your resume outlining your work experience, education, professional or academic honors and achievements, speeches or lectures given, papers presented or published, and any other information you believe relevant in assessing your application to helpp@shu.edu.
- Test Scores: Standardized Test scores are not required, but if you have taken the LSAT, GRE or GMAT test, please indicate test date and score ( 000 - mm/dd/yyyy ). If your pre-college education was in a language other than English, and you have taken the TOEFL, please indicate test date and score ( 000 - mm/dd/yyyy ).
- Letters of Recommendation: Two or three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with your academic or professional performance must be submitted directly from the recommender to the Health, Science and Technology Law Program. Please supply the names, titles and telephone numbers of persons who will submit recommendation letters.
- Personal Statement: Please submit a written essay of 2-3 typed pages, double spaced, explaining your reasons for applying to the Health, Science and Technology Program to helpp@shu.edu. Specifically discuss what academic project or focus you wish to pursue during the course of your studies. Also, please explain any lapse in employment. Please put your name and social security number on each sheet of paper.
- LL.M. Applicants: Please submit a list of every bar of which you are a member and your current status of membership to helpp@shu.edu. Also include whether you have ever been disbarred or disciplined by a state bar, and explain the reason. Applicants currently under supervision or currently disbarred from a state bar are not eligible for admission. Put your name and social security number on this document and entitle it Bar Membership Information.
- Have you ever been convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation?
If yes, please provide date and complete details on a supplementary sheet of paper. If the incident involves a felony arrest and conviction, please provide current status. Put your name and social security number on this document.
