Journal Write-on Competition  

The 2012 Journals Write-on Competition began Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. and ends May 24th at 7 p.m.   

Competition Instructions Packet may be downloaded here.
Note: Please see instructions on proper formatting for saving files -- PDF only will be accepted.

Instructions to submit your files:

  1. Submit your competition entry and preference sheet between May 12, 2012 and May 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Submissions will not be accepted after 7:00pm on May 24th.

  2. Before submitting, please re-read competition instructions packet and confirm that your submission compiles with all instructions.

  3. File cannot be more than 512kb in size.

  4. File must be in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.

  5. When all of the above is confirmed, proceed to submit your file. Click the items below.

Submit to ALL Journals or to the Journal(s) of your choice
  1. To submit to ALL JOURNALS, enter your information to the right of this page and remember to "upload" your paper and then click "SUBMIT to ALL JOURNALS" button.
  2. Submit to Law Review only >>
  3. Submit to Circuit Review only >>
  4. Submit to Legislative Journal only >>
  5. Submit to Sports & Entertainment Law only >>
If you encountered a problem with your submission and your anonymous number does not appear in the Competition Submission List, please contact ana.santos@shu.edu.  All questions will be answered as quickly as possible.

Have a question? Click here to access the Journal Competition Discussion Board on LawNet. Deadline for questions: Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. but will be viewable until the end of the competition.

  2. Click on the Blackboard icon in the upper righthand corner
  3. In the "My Organizations" box, click  "Law_Student_Services" 
  4. Click "Discussion Board" button (left navigation)
