Program Description

Within the past 25 years, the four major sports leagues, the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL, have all experienced work stoppage lockouts, sparking new controversy in the sports law industry. The topic of this symposium will include the legal, economic, and social implications of the lockouts. Distinguished sports law professionals will discuss various aspects of the legal effect lockouts have had on players, owners, and third parties alike.
