Riccio Moot Court
Competition Date: January 21, 2012
Informational meeting TBD.
The Ronald J. Riccio First Year Moot Court Competition is an intrascholastic competition open to all first year day and evening students. Held during the spring semester, the Competition is the sole avenue for first year students to earn an invitation onto the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. Students are given a fact pattern along with applicable case law in order to prepare their oral arguments. Students are judged by Interscholastic Moot Court Board members, and once scores are calculated, a 32 student single-elimination competition ensues. Competitors who advance to the Quarterfinal Round will be invited to join the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. Additional invitations may be given at the Director's discretion.
