This study abroad program will offer students a unique opportunity to study international and comparative law in Amman, Jordan – a venerated city located in the heart of the Arab World. For the summer 2012, the Seton Hall Jordan Summer Program will operate a three week summer session at the Columbia University Middle East Research Center (CUMERC) located in West Amman.
Jordanian and International law students will have the opportunity to interact and study together in this unique setting where students will be offered the opportunity to take courses in:
Note: All classes will be conducted in English and students may register for up to 4 credits (2 classes).
*Course is subject to approval of the Seton Hall Law School Curriculum Committee and Faculty.
Students will visit Jordanian legal institutions and interact with prominent scholars, judges, and public officials involved with those institutions. This is the only program of its kind offered by an American Law School.
The program will also offer optional tours to historic Petra and other interesting and exciting locations.
This is a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of international and comparative law abroad and to explore Jordan - a fascinating and important Middle Eastern nation.
