Joint Enrollment for Cairo/Jordan

Spend Your Summer Studying Law in Cairo, Egypt and Amman, Jordan

May 29, 2010 - August 12, 2010

Students may enroll in both the Cairo Summer Program and the Jordan Summer Program in one summer. Students may take 6 credits between the two programs without prior approval. Students who want to take more than 6 credits must get prior approval from the Dean of Students at Seton Hall Law School. Non-Seton Hall Students must also get prior approval from the Dean at their law school in order to take more than 6 credits. Students enrolling in both programs can choose to take 2 or 3 credits in the Cairo Summer Program and 2 or 4 credits in the Jordan Summer Program. Students enrolling in both programs will be subject to the policies and guidelines applicable for each program.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Students who want to enroll in both programs must apply to each program separately via each program's website. Applicants do not need to write two essays; students can incorporate the essay by reference in the second application. Students will only need to submit one copy of the necessary application materials outlined in the "Selection Process" page on the Cairo and Jordan Summer Program websites.

REGISTRATION

Upon acceptance, students will be provided with an acceptance package for each program explaining the procedures in detail. Seats are secured by a non-refundable $250 deposit applied toward tuition, and are awarded in the order in which deposits are received, so students should register early. Students must send a separate deposit for each program, so any student enrolling in both programs should send two checks in the amount of $250 each.

It is anticipated that the deposit deadline for both programs will be April 15. If additional places are available after that date, students may be admitted subject to the discretion of the Program Director. Enrollment is limited to 40 students for both Programs.

STUDENT BUDGET (JOINT ENROLLMENT)

Students should visit the "Tuition & Fees" pages of the Cairo and Jordan Summer Program websites for an explanation of costs.
