A Guide to Housing: Welcome to the Neighborhood!

We want you to feel that, as a part of Seton Hall Law School, you’re now part of a community that extends beyond Newark. This community exists in downtown Newark, including the famous Ironbound section. It reaches to the Jersey Gold Coast in Hoboken and Jersey City. It stretches across the Hudson into Manhattan, and even some of the outer boroughs. And it extends into New Jersey’s suburbs–South Orange/Maplewood and Westfield–many of which offer more than the traditional white picket fence.

With such a wide variety of neighborhoods to choose from, there are plenty of housing opportunities for you. A lot of questions are probably racing through your mind. Fortunately you’ve come to the right place. There’s a lot of information here, so figuring out which part of our “neighborhood” is right for you will be easier than you imagine. You just might be surprised by some places you never considered before.

At this point you may be wondering which neighborhood is right for you, what your commute will be like, or whether there are accommodations to fit your budget and life style. You’ll find information like that right here. So take a look. Do some research. And enjoy finding your own niche in the great Seton Hall Law School community.

After you have done your research, take a look at the “Need a Roommate or Housing” banner to the left to see area housing listings and access the Roommate Search/Profile System to find potential roommates and/or to post your profile.
