- A complaint shall be dismissed unless the Committee finds that it is sustained and supported by clear and convincing evidence, except that discrimination and harassment complaints must be sustained and supported by a preponderance of the evidence.
- If the committee finds that the Complaint is sustained, the Committee shall issue a decision which may award such relief as is authorized by and consistent with the rules and regulations of the Law School.
- In all cases the Committee shall render a written decision and serve copies on all parties in interest and file a copy with the Dean.
- Unless reconsideration is sought pursuant to Rule 4.2 or an appeal is taken pursuant to Rule 4.3, the Committee's decision becomes final 15 days after service and filing.
- The deliberations of the Committee in reaching any decision under these rules are confidential.
