Capital Improvements

The Law School must constantly progress to meet the needs of Seton Hall students.

Seton Hall Law is attracting better students than ever, in competition with law schools regionally and nationally.  The new law building has been a tremendous recruiting asset. We can’t let it become outdated. It’s time to take the next step by providing cutting-edge technology and a state-of-the-art learning environment for our students.

Change is constant. To stay ahead, we’re working every day to sustain a vibrant learning and living environment.  A growing number of our students require the amenities of a full-time residential community. We recently upgraded our cafeteria and coffee house to meet the needs of our urban law students. Your capital campaign contributions will help provide
students with a:

  • New reading room conducive to modern study habits—comfortable, laptop-friendly,
and centered on group instead of individual learning
  • New courtroom to accommodate expanding trial practice and clinical programs
  • Classroom setting replete with modern technology
  • Law campus residence for students.
“As an out-of-state student, I was tremendously impressed with the open space and modern appeal of the school; as a graduate, I recognize that these qualities embody not only the facilities but also the people who work and learn here. Fostering this environment is key to recruiting top students in a national marketplace. We must maintain this competitive edge.”

“Law school has changed dramatically. Today’s students learn more through interaction and cooperation. They gather wherever they can find space. It’s essential for everyone—students and faculty—to have places to collaborate and learn together.”
