I am a first-year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law interested in obtaining a
internship in your chambers for the summer of 2003.
My goals for this summer include gaining experience in a courtroom setting and working with legal
professionals on a daily basis. My experience as an editor and my undergraduate involvement in
public affairs organizations makes me a unique candidate for this position.
OR
I am currently working 15 hours a week while carrying a full course load, and serve as a senator
of the Student Bar Association. As a temporary legal secretary in several law firms, I acquired
practical experience of the legal profession and became familiar with the litigation process. I am
hoping to further my hands-on experience through working as a summer intern, and I am excited at the
prospect of working in your chambers.
