The County Prosecutors Association of New Jersey is accepting
scholarship applications for Oscar W. Rittenhouse, Andrew K.
Ruotolo Jr., Harris Y. Cotton and the John Stamler Memorial
Scholarship.
The scholarship amount is $2,500.00. The deadline for submitting
applications is June 15, 2005.
Criteria for Oscar W. Rittenhouse:
1. Applicant must be a New Jersey resident accepted for admission
to a law school.
2. Applicant must have an interest in pursuing a career as a
prosecutor.
3. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
Criteria for Andrew Ruotolo, Jr.
1. Applicant must be a New Jersey resident accepted for admission
to a law school or graduate school.
2. Applicant must exhibit an interest in, and commitment to,
enhancing the rights and well-being of children through child
advocacy programs.
3. Applicant must also exhibit financial need.
Criteria for John H. Stamler:
1. Applicant must be a New Jersey resident and a sworn law
enforcement officer seeking educational advancement on a college
or graduate level to improve his or her effectiveness as a law
enforcement officer.
2. Applicant must also demonstrate financial aid.
Criteria for Harris Y. Cotton:
1. Applicant must be a New Jersey resident accepted for admission
to a law school.
2. Applicant must have an interest in pursuing a career as a
prosecutor with an emphasis in Domestic Violence or Hate Crimes
prosecutions.
3. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need.
