Seton Hall Law School utilizes a voicemail system separate and distinct from our in-house NEC phone system. Located at the main campus, this voicemail server offers advanced features and access from any phone in the law school building and beyond. However, in order to use this system you must first setup
your mailbox and forward your "busy" and "no answer" calls to your account.
Please follow the steps below to complete this process: |

| HOW TO SETUP YOUR VOICEMAIL MAILBOX and PROGRAM VOICEMAIL FORWARDING | ||
1. REQUEST VOICEMAIL ACTIVATION: Once you have received your office phone number, please contact our Law Helpdesk at 973-642-8017 or use our on-line Virtual Helpdesk to request a voicemail mailbox. Voicemail mailboxes are usually created with 24 hrs. |

| 2. SETUP YOUR VOICEMAIL MAILBOX:
Once you have received confirmation that your voicemail is active, perform
the following steps FROM YOUR OFFICE DESK PHONE to complete your
initial voicemail mailbox setup: - Dial 4001 - Enter the first time Security Code 2003 - Follow the voice prompts as presented and complete all steps

3. PROGRAM YOUR DESK PHONE to FORWARD CALLS to VOICEMAIL: Once your voicemail mailbox is setup, you MUST program your office phone to forward all busy and unanswered calls to your new voicemail account. To do this perform the following FROM YOUR OFFICE DESK PHONE: - Press
**1 then 4001 (This will forward your unanswered calls - Then
press **4, 4001 (This will forward your busy calls to Your voicemail setup is now complete !!! - If you
wish ALL YOUR CALLS TO GO TO VOICEMAIL |

TO REMOVE FORWARDING PRESS ##

- Dial 4001 |

- Enter your Security Code |

HOW TO ACCESS VOICE MAIL AWAY FROM YOUR DESK |
| - Dial 4001 |
| - Press * |
| - Enter your Extension plus a "0" |
| - Enter your Security Code |

HOW TO ACCESS VOICE MAIL FROM OUTSIDE THE BUILDING |
| - Dial 973-275-4001 |
|
- When you hear the recorded greeting, Press # and enter Your Extension plus a "0" |
| - Enter your Security Code |
| HOW TO TRANSFER CALLERS TO VOICE MAIL |
| - Press Transfer |
| - Dial 4001 |
| - Let Voice Mail Answer, and then Press * |
| - Enter Extension of the person requested followed by a "0" |
| - Release call immediately |
