Forgot Your Webmail/ Blackboard Password?

 

  Please visit our Law Helpdesk located in the 4th floor computer lab and present your student ID for identification.  Once verified a support ticket will be entered for you by our IT staff requesting University Systems support to reset your password.  Please note that our Virtual Helpdesk resource cannot be used for this purpose as it requires visual verification for security purposes.
 
Forgot Your Novell Network Password?   Please come to our Law Helpdesk located in the 4th floor computer lab and present your student ID for identification.  Once verified a local ticket will be created for you and one of our technicians will reset your password and notify you of the change (usually within minutes...)
 
Having local Novell access issues? Out of F: drive storage space? Need more network rights or access?

Webmail Email Down?  Webmail Account problems?   PLEASE CALL our UNIVERSITY IT HELPDESK at 973-275-2222. For after hours and weekends outages, voicemail may answer your helpdesk call. PLEASE LEAVE A DETAILED MESSAGE describing your issue and one of the University's IT staff will review the voicemail in a timely manner and begin work on the problem.  You can also email helpdesk@shu.edu with your issue from an outside address, but if the outage is effecting all email systems servicing your request may be delayed...
 
Blackboard Problems (but not password problems?    Please call University Helpdesk at 973-275-2222 or email helpdesk@shu.edu.
 
Spam Issue?  Many new spam messages getting through the spam filter?

Web For Students problems?  Can't login or exceeded login attempts and need your account reset?

Law school wireless problem?  Need to register a new laptop?  Can't connect and need to reconfigure settings?

Need Ink for office printer?   Replacement toner cartridges for all office and network printers are stored in the Documents Production department of the law school located on the 2nd floor student wing, next to our mailroom. If you need a new toner, please see Kareem for access to the ink and paper closet.  Please make a note of the type of printer you have and when selecting a new toner, please use the labels located on the ink shelf (or on the toner box itself) to select the correct cartridge.

As we recycle our old toner cartridges, please bring your old toner to the computer lab and place it in the toner drop area located behind the monitor helpdesk...
