Authorized Use by Location

Labs and Student Public Areas (such as library, study rooms, etc.): Only authorized users shall be allowed access to computers, computer peripherals, printers, communication devices or any other computer or computer related devices or systems in these areas. Preferences of use shall always be given to current law students over alumni or any other group.

Administration, Faculty, Library and Staff Offices and Workstations: Only the primary user (that is the user to which the computer has been assigned), their superiors and those authorized by the primary user or superior shall use the computer assigned to that office or area. All other access will be by express permission only. At no time should students be allowed to use these machines without expressed permission.

Journal, Student Organization and Clinical Offices and Workstations: Only those primary authorized group users (that is the members of that Journal, Student Organization or Clinic which the computer has been assigned), shall use the computer assigned to that office or area. All other access will be by express permission only.

Division Of Legal Computing Offices: The Assistant Dean of Legal Computing  and those so authorized by the Assistant Dean shall be the only personnel allowed access to and use of the computers in these offices. All other entry or access is strictly prohibited. Rooms included in this section are the Asst. Dean's office, Technical Services office, backup room and control room, as well as various storage areas throughout the law building.
