New Chief Justice's First Order of Business - The Admission of Eight Seton Hall University School of Law Graduates to the Supreme Court Bar
 

Newark, N.J. – When Chief Justice John Glover Roberts, Jr. assumed his seat on the Supreme Court Monday, October 3, his first official act was to admit eight Seton Hall University School of Law graduates to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.

The first act of the Court at the start of a new session is to admit new lawyers. Holding true to tradition, Chief Justice Roberts admitted eight Seton Hall University School of Law graduates, the only group admission of attorneys that day. Also in attendance was Seton Hall University School of Law Dean Patrick E. Hobbs.
The eight Law School graduates admitted to the Supreme Court Bar were:

• John Napoleon Lemieux
• Demetra Agriantonis Maurice
• Francis R.X. Lyons
• Thomas George Kay
• Margaret Paula Miller
• Gregory William Fortsch
• Susan J. Ellis
• Robert Joel Brass
