Course Description

All students are required to take Appellate Advocacy. The course is taught in sections of approximately sixteen students in the fall and spring and approximately ten students in the summer. The course is a two credit, graded course.

The Appellate Advocacy course is designed to build upon the legal research, analysis and writing skills taught in the first year Legal Research and Writing course. The course should help you refine your brief writing and oral argument skills.
