Grading

Appellate Advocacy is a graded, two credit course. Draft briefs and the practice rounds of oral argument do not receive letter grades. Final grades are based 75% on the final brief and 25% on the graded round of oral argument. A Professor may raise or lower a final grade by one-half grade based on a student's participation, conference participation, and improvement from drafts to final brief.

There is a mandatory curve for the course.  The average grade for each section must fall between a 3.10 and a 3.33 GPA.
