Prerequisites: Minimum 2.6 cumulative GPA
Note: Must sign hold harmless agreement, confidentiality agreement and intern application.
The student will interact with attorneys and staff from up to 6 sections (Municipal Prosecutors, Contracts & Legislation, Real Estate & Tax, Workers Comp, Labor and Civil Litigation). Externs will attend court proceedings and hearings, research and draft briefs and/or memoranda, and at times assist in the drafting of legislation. During the summer, externs will participate in the summer programs organized by the department, as well as those developed by the department’s partners.
