INTERNATIONAL LAW (INTL8600)
3 credits. Lecture.
This course is an introduction to public international law as
applied between independent states and in national courts. It
includes selected problems in the sources, development, authority
and application of international law; the law of treaties;
recognition; territory, nationality, jurisdiction and immunities;
the United Nations and other international organizations;
international protection of human rights; state responsibility and
international claims, and aspects of the law of war.
