Graduation Awards


  

Most of the following awards are announced at the graduation of the recipient's class and bestowed in a special ceremony the following fall.

 

Advanced Legal Writing Award

A cash award to the graduating student writing the best Advanced Legal Writing paper in a seminar or independent research project.

 

 

Center for Social Justice Awards

Given to outstanding clinical practitioners in each of the clinics in the Center for Social Justice, and to the person who has made the most significant contribution to the clinical programs overall.


 

Chicago Title Insurance Company Award

Cash award to the student who receives the highest grade in Real Property.

 

 

Law School Alumni/Development Award

Recognition for outstanding service.


 

Mary Franzese Humanitarian Achievement Award

A cash award given to the student who has demonstrated public leadership, community service, integrity and vision throughout his/her law school career.


 

Monsignor Thomas M. Reardon Award

A cash award in honor of Msgr. Thomas M. Reardon, the first Regent of the School of Law, to the student who has shown the most improvement in law school.


 

National Association of Women Lawyers Award

A certificate and honorary membership in the Association is awarded to the outstanding female graduate.


 

Raymond Del Tufo Constitutional Law Award

Annual constitutional law award in honor of Raymond Del Tufo, Jr., inscribed with the name of the student who achieves the highest scholastic average in Constitutional Law.


 

West Publishing Company Awards

Plaques are awarded on an annual basis to the students who graduate with the four highest cumulative grade-point averages.
