J.D. / M.A.D.I.R. - Application

Students interested in the joint program for a Juris Doctorate and Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations (JD-MADIR) must apply for admission to both the Law School and the School of Diplomacy and International Relations. In addition, however, students must receive specific permission from both schools to pursue the joint degree.

  • Ideally, students would begin their course of studies in the Law School.

  • Students who begin their studies in the Law School must apply to the School of Diplomacy and International Relations prior to the conclusion of their first year of legal studies.

  • Students will not be admitted by the Law School into the joint degree program if they are on academic probation at the Law School.

  • Students who commence their studies at the School of Diplomacy who are subsequently admitted to the Law School will be required to suspend their MADIR courses until they complete three semesters of full-time study at the Law School.
