Insurance
The state of New Jersey requires all
full-time students attending an institution of higher
education in the state to be covered by health insurance.
All law students registered for 9 or more credits will be
automatically provided with Accident and Illness
Insurance. Students will be billed for this
insurance, along with tuition, each semester.
Brochures on the insurance plan are mailed to all students
in August and can also be obtained from the
Office of the Dean of Students
located on the 3rd Floor.
Seton Hall University
requires all students who are covered by another health
insurance plan to complete a waiver form indicating other
coverage. Once this form is submitted, the bursar will
adjust the student's bill.
Law students who are residents of
states other than New York, New Jersey or Oregon may also obtain a policy
through the
Law Student Division of the American Bar
Association.
