PREAMBLE
The students and faculty of Seton Hall University School of Law, in order to promote standards of ethical conduct, preserve the trust of the legal profession, and in recognition of the need to formally define a system fostering these goals, establish this Code of student conduct.
1. Purposes
The purposes of this Code are to instill in every student the values and teachings of the Seton Hall University School of Law and the standards of the legal profession; to establish the minimum standards of conduct for students within the law school community; and to preserve and enhance the law school's
reputation; to hear allegations of student misconduct which disrupts, obstructs, or interferes with the mission or functions of the law
school.

Agreement of Students
All students continuing or starting their education at the Law School shall be required to sign and file with the school a statement that they will comply with this Code as a prerequisite to starting or continuing their education.
Amendments
Amendments may be proposed by the Council, the faculty, or the Student Bar Association, and shall become effective on approval by the faculty and the Student Bar Association.
