Housing in Jersey City

Monthly Rent:  $700 - $3000

Jersey City is a diverse, eclectic community and a major manufacturing and transportation center. It also has an impressive Financial District. In addition to superb views of Manhattan from vantage points along the Hudson River.  Jersey City offers many housing options ranging from restored brownstones to modern high rises.

Travel is easy to and from Jersey City via three Path stations: Journal Square, Grove Street and Pavonia.

Jersey City is a diverse urban community. Some students live in large apartment complexes on the Hudson River. These tend to be more expensive. There are more reasonable complexes in the Newport area. Many areas of Jersey City are within walking distance of PATH train stations. Parking is limited and can be expensive.
