For students who own a car, Montclair is a popular town. New Jersey Transit service to Newark, via the Montclair/Boonton Line, is limited to the Newark Broad Street Station, about 10 blocks from the Law School, although the Loop bus takes students to the Law School. There are several apartment complexes and multi-family homes in Montclair. The downtown district has a rich variety of retail establishments and restaurants. All essential services are located here.
