Housing in New York City

Monthly Rent:  $1200 - $5000+

New York City is an easy commute from the Law School. Rent in Manhattan is expensive, and parking is extremely limited and expensive. Students who live in New York tend to do so because of a significant other’s employment demands or other personal issues. Certain areas of New York are more convenient to the Law School than others – these include those on the PATH train line such as the West Village, Greenwich Village, and Chelsea. New Jersey Transit and Amtrak trains depart from New York Penn Station regularly for Newark Penn Station.
