Looking for a mature student to house sit in a mansion in a premiere residential area, near Seton Hall University and two blocks from train into Newark and NYC. I am looking for someone who is interested in doing this for at least a year, including summer.

Lawn is taken care of by lawn service as is snow plowing. Cleaning service cleans house. Sitter is responsible for keeping an eye open for problems. Other negotiable duties could include light gardening, shoveling steps and walk, occasional light carpentry and other repairs.

No smoking. No pets.

Sitter will have use of small air-conditioned bedroom with private bath, small attached sitting room/study, with kitchen and laundry privileges. Full rent would be $750 per month. Rent reduced to $600 for keeping an eye on the house. Depending on other duties sitter is willing to assume rent could be as low as $100 per month.
