Services for Students

The Office of the Dean of Students offers many services to Seton Hall Law School students.  Please browse below for information.

Bar Review Courses

After graduating, students usually take bar review courses in preparation for the Bar Exam.  Commercial organizations advertise early in the school year, attempting to become the student's choice by offering discounts or premiums for those who sign up early.

Such organizations are permitted to set up tables on the second floor, near the student lounge for informational purposes.

Bookstore

Located on the second floor, the Law School Bookstore offers all required course books as well as supplies.  Both new and used books are sold.  The bookstore can be reached at (973) 642-8569.  The bookstore website can be used for purchasing textbooks.

Bulletin Boards

Bulletin boards are conveniently placed throughout the building. They are assigned for specific purposes. Students are requested to use boards only as designated, and to use push-pins or thumb tacks only. Nothing is to be posted on walls, doors, or windows anywhere in the building. Items hung in non-designated areas will be promptly removed.

Items to be posted must first be approved by the Office of the Dean of Students. Postings which are not appropriately stamped will be taken down. General information boards are available, and student organizations should use the board outside the student lounge.

Official information and notices from the offices of the deans, registrar, faculty, administration, etc. will be posted outside their respective offices. Information regarding events for the week will be posted on the calendar at the entrance of the cafeteria.
