IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
All seats
in the Cairo Summer Program for 2008 are now full. Any student whose
deposit we receive after April 16, 2008 will be put on a priority
waiting list.
***Due to
scheduling complications involving the exam schedule for students at the
American University in Cairo, our students will not be able to use the AUC Zamalek Housing Facility until after June 4th. Therefore, students
in our program will be housed, at program expense, at the Victoria
Hotel, 66 Goumhurriyya Street, Cairo for the first week of the program
and transferred to the Zamalek dorm as rooms open up. We anticipate that
all students should be in the Zamalek dorm by June 5th. The Victoria
Hotel is a well established downtown Cairo hotel with a long and
venerated history. We have used the Victoria s our faculty headquarters
for the past 11 years. Security is excellent and the rooms are quiet,
spacious, and comfortable. We look forward to meeting everyone at the
Victoria Hotel in Cairo on May 30, in sha' Allah!***
****Due to unforeseen circumstances, we
regret to advise that we will have to cancel the International Admiralty
and Maritime Law class for the 2008 Summer Program. Any student who has
registered for the Admiralty class should immediately let us know
whether you wish to sign up for another class as an alternative. Please
email Ms. Vivian Van Bogaert with your intentions at meravivi@shu.edu.****
