Who Can Apply to the Program
Seton Hall Law welcomes students from schools throughout the United States and abroad. A student in good
standing at an accredited law school who has completed his or her first year of legal study, full or part time,
can apply.
Irish or other foreign students must have completed four semesters in an Irish or foreign law school and
must be fluent in English.
How to Apply to the Program
Students must complete an application form by April 15th, 2008.
To complete the application, a student must send an up-to-date,
certified copy of their law school transcript and a letter from
their Dean stating that he or she is in good academic standing,

apply on line, also send a copy of
the confirmation page-receipt to the application form which you
should retain for your records. Mail documents to: Maria Polimeni,
Assistant to the Associate Dean, Law in Ireland Program, Seton Hall
University School of Law, One Newark Center, Rm. 304, Newark, New
Jersey 07102-5210.
Students are accepted on a rolling basis, and it is highly suggested
that candidates submit their application early. A $250
non-refundable deposit
against tuition will guarantee a candidate a slot if accepted, and
it may be sent along with the application if desired. Once accepted,
the deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel the program. Of
course, if you are not accepted, your deposit will be returned. All
documents, including the completed application, an official student
transcript, letter of good standing from the Associate Dean of your
law school, copies of your passport, medical coverage, and a
statement of risk allocation and waiver of liability, and necessary
payments will be required before final acceptance is granted. Please
