COST
Tuition
for Non Seton Hall Students will be approximately $8,052 for a
total of six credits. Seton Hall Law Students will be
charged a "Study Abroad Fee" of $1000. Most of the class materials are
included in the cost of tuition. Costs have been kept to a
minimum by the special arrangements for student housing in
each city. Housing will cost approximately $2000
for the duration of the program. Travel, food, and
incidental expenses are the responsibility of the student.
Airfare and International Services Round trip
airfare between New York and Milan can be expected to
range from $1000 to $1300. Students are recommended to
contact STA Travel, 205 E. 42nd Street, New York, New York
10017-5706, (http://www.statravel.com) for the latest
information on discount airfares to Europe.
Students should consider applying for an International
Identification card through STA Travel. An International
ID provides eligibility for a number of substantial
discounts. Also helpful to participants in the program is

PASSPORT
A student must possess a passport
valid for at least six months after arrival in Italy.
BOOKS
Most of the class materials are
included in the cost of tuition.
Other books and materials, if required, will be
available at the Seton Hall School of Law Bookstore, or
will be accessible through the program for outside
students participating in the program.
LIVING COSTS
For Leuven, Brussels students will be billed by the Law
School for room and board.
In Parma―Students are responsible for their
own meals, housing, other living expenses, and local
transportation.

**Students wishing to receive
residency credit for Law in Italy are also charged tuition
pursuant to the Law School's tuition policy and must file notice with the
Registrar's office and the summer abroad coordinator at the time of
registration. Information on tuition can be obtained from the
Registrar's office.
Keep in mind that these estimates are
in U.S. dollars and will fluctuate with the exchange
rate for the Euro.
LIVING ARRANGEMENTS
Participants are asked to make an
effort to choose roommates that are compatible with
respect to living preferences: room temperature, sleeping
schedule, etc. Requests for reassignments are often
difficult to accommodate. The Program cannot assume
responsibility for incompatibility.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Each student must be enrolled in a health care plan that
includes coverage for medical care overseas. Health
insurance is mandatory for participation in the Law in Italy
Program. Applicants are required to provide proof of
insurance upon registration. In the eventuality of serious
illness or injury, program participants are advised to
return to the U.S. for treatment.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Seton Hall University School of Law reserves the right to
cancel the Law in Italy Program due to low enrollment,
and/or if Italy and Belgium are declared to be areas of
instability by the U.S. Department or some other unforeseen
and uncontrollable cause. In such case, registrants will be
notified and tuition and educational fees will be refunded.
Accepted applicants may cancel at any time prior to
program commencement, but will forfeit $250 deposit and may
forfeit other fees, such as housing costs.
