Pro Bono Service Programs

FAMILY COURT
 
[Newark, NJ] - This organization is a department of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage which provides pro bono services to the public. In its Family Division, law interns will primarily give information and answer questions to the public on family court procedures regarding custody, child support, and visitation. There may also be assignments in the Juvenile Justice section, as well as in-court assignments.

Eligibility: All law students.

Schedule: Volunteers are asked to donate 1-2 hours in the morning each week, over the semester. Other schedules can be arranged.
