Press Release
(October 17, 2006)

Heyman Fellowship Applications
will be released at this program.
The Samuel J. Heyman Fellowship Program provides financial
and personal support to students in federal public service,
excluding judicial employment. The Heyman Post-Graduate
Fellowship offers one-time grants of $10,000.00 and loan
repayment assistance of up to $10,000.00 per year for three
years, as long as the Fellow remains in federal public
employment. In 2007, the Heyman Fellowship Program will
award two Post-Graduate Fellowships to graduates in the
2007, 2006, or 2005 classes. The Heyman Summer Fellowship
offers $4000.00 fellowships for summer employment in the
federal government. In 2007, the Heyman Fellowship Program
will award two Summer Fellowships to two current students.
To be eligible, a student must be entering his or her
second, third, or, in the case of evening students, fourth
year at Seton Hall University School of Law.
