| This survey course
introduces the student to the issues, laws, regulations and accreditation
standards essential to representing the health care client. A significant portion of the course is spent discussing third
party payors, including Medicare, Medicaid and managed care organizations,
and the special requirements of tax-exempt, antitrust, and fraud and abuse
laws. |
