Program 8: INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW

Traditionally, international crimes related to certain universally condemned practices, such s piracy. Advances in technology and communications, as well as increased transnational mobility, have led to the growth of new categories of crimes. The definition and codification of criminal offenses, the expansion of jurisdiction, as well as the creation of international criminal courts are key areas under consideration by the world community.
