Professor Garland received his A.B. from
Fairfield University and his J.D. from
Seton Hall University. He was law
secretary to a Superior Court Judge in
New Jersey and a partner in Stanziale
and Garland in Newark. At the request of
the A.B.A.'s Central and Eastern
European Law Institute, he prepared a
commentary for Romanian legislators
concerning that country's expropriation
law. He came to Seton Hall in 1970, was
an adjunct professor from 1974-76 and
returned as a full-time professor in
1976. He served as associate dean from
1983-84. |
