Forwarding or Redirecting SHU Student Email
While student Microsoft OWA email accounts allow for email to be forwarded or redirected to another outside account, the Division of Legal Computing does not recommend doing so. Forwarding and/or redirecting email in OWA does not guarantee that email will be forwarded immediately (there can be a delay), or that email will be forwarded at all. Further, any email that is sent to your SHU email Junk Folder will not be forwarded or redirected.
If you do choose to forward or redirect your SHU student email to another account, please remember that it should be used as a convenience and not relied upon solely for receiving your SHU email. It is still crucial to check your SHU student email account regularly to ensure that no messages have been missed due to non-forwarding or Junk Email settings.
